ایک تماشا تھا عمر بھر دیکھا
जीवन का क्या कहना

उम्र भर देखा गया एक तमाशा था

کسی کی جان بستی ہے مجھ میں

کسی کی جان بستی ہے مجھ میں

کسی کا سر درد ہوں میں
किसी का मुझमें

मुझे सिरदर्द है

I have a headache.

ہم جو بھی چیز رکھتے کمال کی رکھتے ہیں

ہم جو بھی چیز رکھتے کمال کی رکھتے ہیں

یقین نہ آئے تو خود کی مثال لے لیجئے
हमारे पास जो कुछ है वह अद्भुत है

साहब

अगर आप विश्वास नहीं करते हैं, तो खुद का उदाहरण लें

پھر یوں ہوا کہ حسرتیں پیروں میں گر پڑیں

پھر یوں ہوا کہ حسرتیں پیروں میں گر پڑیں

پھر میں نے ان کو روند کے قصہ ختم کر دیا
फिर ऐसा हुआ कि होश पैरों में गिर गया

फिर मैंने उन्हें कचरा कहानी में समाप्त कर दिया

جب اپنی قسمت کا سکہ چلے گا

تجھے خریدیں گے تیرے نخروں سمیت
